Anaphylaxis and Epipen Training
If you are responsible for immunisations or in an environment where anaesthetic is given, then it is recommended that you have an awareness of Anaphylactic Shock.
This 2 hour course will identify what typically causes the reaction, who is likely to be at risk, early recognition of the associated signs and symptoms of a severe life threatening allergic reaction, how to manage the situation and the early use of adrenaline or use of the individual's Epipen to reduce the reaction.
As well as your ongoing professional development have you considered your legal requirements under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. You will need to carry out a first aid needs assessment to determine what level of cover you require. For more information check out First Aid at Work.
Whatever you decide on...you can be sure that Simply First Aid will deliver the best course for you.
