Casualty Care in the Outdoors

Having identified that a First Aider is needed, the employer has assessed the need to provide Emergency First Aid at Work training for their First Aiders.

Who needs this?

Outdoor professionals, Forest School Leaders, Scout and Guide Leaders and anyone with an interest in the outdoors.

How is it assessed?

Assessment of the Casualty Care in the Outdoors course is carried out by the tutor on an ongoing basis.

Students will demonstrate acting safely, promptly and effectively in managing: an unconscious casualty; a non breathing casualty; and a casualty with trauma injuries.

Simply First Aid is licensed to deliver HSE approved training and certificates, valid for 3 years, will be issued for this course.

Can I add topics?
