Medical emergencies are rare but can occur at any time. It is essential that all dental practitioners know their role in emergency situations. They need to know that their drugs and equipment are in date and know how to deliver them. The GDC recommend that all dentists and dental care professionals do CPD in medical emergencies every year’.
We at Simply First Aid work to promote Resuscitation Council (UK) guidance to help all practitioners keep their patients safe.
