It is based on the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) training standard for delivery of Emergency First Aid at Work courses.
Completion of this emergency first aid at work qualification should enable you and your employees to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations. You should be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective first aid in emergency situations with an understanding of the role of first aider.

First Aid Needs Assessment
The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require you to provide adequate and appropriate first-aid equipment, facilities and people so your employees can be given immediate help if they are injured or taken ill at work.
What is ‘adequate and appropriate’ will depend on the circumstances in your workplace and you should assess what your first-aid needs are.
The minimum first-aid provision on any work site is:
a suitably stocked first-aid kit;
an appointed person to take charge of first-aid arrangements;
information for employees about first-aid arrangements.
It is important to remember that accidents and illness can happen at any time. Provision for first aid needs to be available at all times people are at work.
Fun and interactive.
“A brilliant course. You made what is normally a dry, boring course fun and interactive.
Dianne Moore - Notting Hill Housing
“It was most useful to have involvement of all students. There was very good communication and engagement throughout.”
Tom Sullivan - The Berkeley Group
Above and beyond....
“Just a foot note, Piers was by far the best delivery of the course I’ve had......... Can I ONLY have him in future please?”
